Job Summary

  • Act as Commission Manager, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex commissions or multiple commissions
  • To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of a value added cost management service
  • Assist the AD/Director in the Business development activities
  • Will be a part of the Senior Management team (SMT) for the region

Job Objectives

 

Finance

  • Ensure the FMS is updated with accurate fee/cost forecasts, job open/closed, etc in order to provide an accurate monthly WIP
  • Provide an accurate monthly WIP for your business unit Director
  • Ensure invoices are raised in a timely manner
  • Assist the AD/Director for monitoring the any assigned work stream

Service Delivery

  • Where appropriate, lead a team, ensuring that they deliver on all of their accountabilities
  • Promote Service Excellence through ADD model
  • Knowledge Management – Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is inputted into internal databases and shared
  • Manage the change control process
  • Quality Control – Ensuring compliance with quality standards and participation in ISO audits
  • Produce formal project progress and other reports
  • Governance - Ensure that contractual risks are acceptable at tender stage and retained contract risks are effectively managed
  • Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve project management procedures, templates and products and hence improve the service provided to clients
  • Assist in research related to construction market conditions in your region, including analysis of official published data

Business Development

  • Work with the AD/Director for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients
  • Work with Directors to construct proposals for new work or variations for existi

Skills Required

  • Education - B.E/B. Tech/B. Arch - a relevant graduate/post graduate degree preferably in Project /Construction Management.
  • A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.
  • Experience of leading project management commissions for medium, large, sized construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • Subject matter expert in datacentre vertical
  • 10-15 years’ work experience with demonstrated career growth graph
