About the role:
This is a commercial role with a key focus on the delivery of commercial services. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career to the next level. Ideally you will have either Rail /Light Rail experience or from an allied Infrastructure sector. You will be reporting to a Director within the Turner and Townsend team working closely with other Project team members providing a range of commercial services to our client.
As a Technical Associate Director you will be responsible for the delivery of a number of defined roles within our major commissions from understanding the Client’s brief through to the delivery of commercial services to a successful conclusion. Your remit will include delivering to client briefs, building strong client relationships and assisting in identifying future opportunities in order to continue to develop the client account.
Experience of working in a consultancy environment
Pre & post contract services experience
Knowledge of the infrastructure industry
MRICS (or progressing through APC)
Proven team management skills and experience
Proven track record of building strong client relationships
Excellent Communicator and interpersonal skills
A client focussed position requiring gravitas as dealing with Senior Stakeholders.
Effective delivery of both pre & post contract commercial services in a client facing role
Management of resources & delivery of commission activities.
Play a role building strategic relationships within client organisations.
Set and maintain standards on commissions ensuring the delivery of a quality service at all times whilst supporting a culture of continuous improvement
To develop knowledge across our service offering and actively seek business development opportunities in line with sector strategies.
To deliver commissions in conjunction with other Associate Directors from appointment through to delivery in line with our processes, policies and standards.
Support the preparation of fee submissions and proposals
Provide leadership and expertise to team members.
