Purpose of the Role

To support the Project Manager in delivering the project through the construction phase up to and past Completion. Ensure all contractual obligations of the Employer, Contractor and Designer are met and that the contract is administered in accordance with the terms of the contract and in a manner which is consistent with the relevant policies and governance parameters. The role will provide contractual support to all members of the client’s team.

Please note the position will be based on clients site in Doxey, Staffordshire.

 

 

Job Objectives

Responsibilities

NEC3 contract administration, encompassing all aspects.

Chairing regular meetings, such as risk reduction meetings.

Writing all formal communications required by the contract.

Co-ordination between Designer’s and Contractor’s.

Change management.

Providing expert NEC3 knowledge.

Monitoring project progress

Liaising with multiple teams and team members, e.g. commercial, design, construction, change, stakeholder, quality, planning etc.

Critical analysis of compensation events against contract requirements.

Monitor and ensure compliance against contract requirements.

Skills Required

 

Previous NEC3 Experience as a contract administrator or named NEC Project Manager.

A detailed working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts, particularly ECC & PSC Options A-E.

Experience working on civil engineering/ highways projects is desirable.

Change management and compensation event experience.

Experience of using CEMAR.

NEC3 Accredited Project Manager desirable.
